Employers

  • Participation is limited to employers with a direct employer/employee relationship.
    The following are not eligible to participate:
    • Employers who require candidates to pay a fee for training, equipment, or job-related expenses
    • Employers hiring for commission-only opportunities
    • Employers hiring for independent contractor positions
    • For-profit educational institutions
      • Unless hiring for campus positions
    • Staffing agencies
      • Unless hiring for open positions and can provide a list of those positions at least two weeks prior to the event
      • No fees or expenses can be required from the job seeker
  • The ITD will use the name and/or logo of the participating Employer in the ITD Job Fair communication, in the manner it deems. Such use shall be only for communication and marketing purposes and solely in relation to the ITD Job Fair.
  • Upon confirmation of participation in the ITD Job Fair, the participating Employer cannot withdraw. Any claims or damages or losses arising out of the Employer’s withdrawal shall be borne by the Employer only. The Employer shall indemnify ITD against such claims, damages or losses arising out of the Employer’s withdrawal from the ITD Job Fair, after confirmation of participation.
  • Upon confirmation of participation in the ITD Job Fair, the participating Employer will have to send a minimum of two of its recruitment team to the venue to conduct to meetings/interviews with prospective employees.
  • All participating Employers and their respective staff members will be responsible for their own travel and stay arrangements.
  • All costs associated with participation in the ITD Job Fair shall be borne by the Employers and ITD shall not be responsible for bearing such costs.
  • Employers are responsible for any equipment and/or promotional material brought onto the job fair venue for conducting tests or interview, including any associated costs.
  • ITD, its director, officers, employees or agents shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any participating Employer arising out of, or subsequent to, relations established pursuant to the ITD Job Fair.
  • ITD is not a placement agency or a placement services provider and therefore does not guarantee the number of prospective, pre-screened or right-fit candidates for the participating Employer.
  • ITD shall not be held liable if the candidates selected by the Employers by participating in the ITD Job Fair do not accept the offer or abandon the offer after the initial interview process.
  • ITD cannot be held responsible for undetected deliberate fraud or misrepresentations made to Employers by potential candidates.
  • The participating Employers shall be responsible for rolling out the offers and signing employment contracts with selected candidates. The ITD does not provide any documents or related service.
  • The participating Employers shall update the selection status of the candidates in the job portal.
  • All costs associated with participation in the ITD Job Fair shall be borne by the Employers and ITD shall not be responsible for bearing such costs.
  • Employers must register and post jobs at least three days prior to the date of job fair.
  • All costs associated with participation in the ITD Job Fair shall be borne by the Employers and ITD shall not be responsible for bearing such costs.
  • Employers must register with ITD Job Fair Portal to be eligible to participate in Job Fairs
  • Click on the “Employer Registration” button shown at the bottom of the page to do the basic registration
  • Your Email ID will be your user ID
  • You can set a password of your choice
  • An activation link will be sent to your registered email ID on submitting the registration form. You have to activate your account by clicking on this link. You will be able to login into the portal only after activating your account.
  • After logging in into the portal using your User ID and password, you have to edit / update your profile and complete it
  • You should enter only true and accurate data in your profile. At any point during the job fair process, if the data entered in your profile is found to be false or inaccurate, you will not be allowed to continue with the job fair process and the organization will be blacklisted
  • You can add new vacancy by clicking on the "Add Vacancy" button in Vacancy Management Menu
  • You can view the list of candidates whose profile matches with your vacancy posting by clicking on the student list button against each vacancy created
  • Selection Status of the candidates can be updated using "Selection Management" menu
